About this experience
Green Island is one of the true natural wonders of Queensland — a coral cay island surrounded by its own fringing reef, just 27 km from Cairns. The island is covered in dense rainforest, ringed by white sand beaches, and the water is shallow, warm, and teeming with marine life.
The catamaran journey takes just 45 minutes and is comfortable even for young children and those prone to seasickness. On arrival, you'll have the full day to explore the island and reef at your own pace — there's no set schedule and no rushing.

Check in at least 15 minutes before departure . Parking available at Reef Fleet Terminal carpark (paid). The marina is a 10-minute walk from Cairns CBD along the Esplanade.
